Starting from the stage and spanning both the big and small screens, he is an actor who widely portrays roles from warm protagonists to chilling villains. Starting his activities in 2002, he first trained on the musical stage. While showcasing the warm texture of a character by playing juvenile court judge Cha Tae-joo in Netflix's 'Juvenile Justice' (2022), he also presented a chilling villain as the final antagonist Baek Chang-gi in 'The Roundup: Punishment' (2024). Solidifying his presence in genre works, such as Kim Young-hoo in 'Sweet Home' Season 2, he has established himself as an actor who can convincingly portray characters of any color.

Na Hwa-jin in Proper Education

In Proper Education, he takes on the role of Na Hwa-jin, an agent of the Teacher's Rights Protection Bureau, directly diving into the crumbling educational field. His broad spectrum, honed by moving between good and evil, perfectly aligns with a character who simultaneously bears the exhilaration of retribution and the skepticism behind it. Coincidentally, this work also marks a reunion with director Hong Jong-chan from 'Juvenile Justice'.
