JIYU

JIYU is a member of KiiiKiii, a five-member girl group from Starship Entertainment. Focusing on leader JIYU, her voice, and the group's movements, we've added listening suggestions to information confirmed from official profiles and interviews. If you've become interested through a personal fancam, try listening to the album that contains the song.

Official Profile

JIYU is the leader of KiiiKiii. The oldest member in the group is LEESOL, so understanding the member introductions is easier if you don't confuse these two roles. The official English name JIYU is used together in music show fancam titles and official profiles. While the information about her being the leader provides context for understanding the team, it's not necessary to interpret every movement or part in a specific performance as being determined by her leader role.

Stories Shared by Members

In a March 2025 Rolling Stone interview, KYA praised JIYU's powerful vocals and leadership. JIYU mentioned reading, yoga, and watching Netflix as her personal hobbies. You can see the original interview to view the conversation from that time.

If you've read the interview first, try to find out for yourself how those stories connect with specific scenes on stage. Rather than defining an entire musical career with just one introduction, it's good to use it as a starting point to learn about the varying expressions in each song and performance.

Alternating Between Group Shots and Individual Fancams

When watching JIYU's performances, first familiarize yourself with the positions of the five members in group shots, then switch to JIYU's fancam for the same song. Individual cameras show movements even when they go off-screen, allowing you to observe the process of moving to the next formation after finishing a part. When you watch the group shot again, you can connect where individual movements fit within the overall composition.

Audio recordings help you listen to the entire song, music shows help you see the stage composition and camera direction, and individual fancams help you continuously follow one member's movements. Since live recordings and broadcast audio have different conditions, rather than comparing vocals solely by volume, try to use them to learn parts and expressions.

Suggested Listening Order Starting with Representative Songs

Choose I DO ME and 404 (New Era) for comparison. The former is the third track from the debut EP UNCUT GEM, and the latter is the title track from the second EP Delulu Pack. By first comparing different cameras from the same broadcast, you can reduce the differences in filming methods. Then, by watching performances from different release periods consecutively, you won't be stuck with just one impression of a song.

When looking for songs, you can use the tracklists of UNCUT GEM, DANCING ALONE, and Delulu Pack. If you continue listening up to WhyKiiiKiii, released on 2026-08-10, the release order since their 2025 debut will also be organized.

Seeing KiiiKiii with Other Members

Reading the introductions for LEESOL · SUI · HAUM · KYA together makes it easier to connect the names and faces of all five members. Alternate between individual fancams for the same song, and if possible, choose videos from the same broadcast date. This way, the outfits and stage conditions are the same, making it easier to observe differences based on who the camera is following.

After that, we recommend watching the group performance one more time. You can see how the scenes you were interested in from individual screens connect with the overall formation of the group. If you are in the initial stage of getting to know the members, it's less overwhelming to distinguish all five members in one favorite song before moving on to the next, rather than trying to memorize all songs at once.

Music List and Official Information

If you want to find music by song title, check KiiiKiii Music for EPs, singles, remixes, and OSTs in release order. I DO ME is included in both the pre-release single and UNCUT GEM, and To Me From Me is included in both the single and Delulu Pack, so even if you see the same title twice, you don't need to count them as two different new songs.

Birth dates and stage names are organized based on Starship's official profile. The hobbies and evaluations from the interview are statements from March 2025, and the listening order is a method suggested on this page. The basis for basic information and release list confirmation is 2026-10-09.
